[English Center] Special Reminder: First Chapel of the Semester

*Hello everyone,*
We've made it through the first week of the Second Semester 2025-2026.
This second week marks the official beginning of a very meaningful weekly
gathering on campus. It is our Chapel.

Read below some extracts from AIIAS' official policies:

*Academic Bulletin, p.23*
*"Chapel services are held every Monday morning from 11:00-11:50, generally
in the Amphitheater. The last Monday of the month, chapel meetings are by
schools and are held in the buildings of the Seminary and the Graduate
School. Chapel is an integral part of campus life. These meetings are
provided to give faculty and students an opportunity to grow closer to God
and to each other, and to benefit from special presentations of
cross-disciplinary interest. Attendance by all students, including English
Center students and faculty, is encouraged."*





*Employee Handbook, p. 3:“Chapel is held each Monday morning from 11:00
a.m. to 12:00 noon in the Amphitheater of the Administration Building on
the ground floor. This is a special time for employees and students to
gather for enrichment and spiritual insights. It is an important part of
campus life. Attendance by all employees and students is expected.”Student
Handbook, p. 17:“Each student is required to attend the
weekly chapel programs scheduled every Monday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00
noon.”*

As a reminder, attendance at chapel is an integral part of our campus life.
It is held during class time or working hours, so all students, staff, and
faculty are expected to attend it.
The speaker for the first Chapel of the semester will be Dr. Robert
Benjamin, our Vice President for Student Services.
