Welcome to *Term B* of the first semester of the *2025–2026 school year!*
It was wonderful to see you all this morning, bringing joy and energy to
our classrooms.

Unfortunately, the *governor has announced the suspension of classes* for
all schools, both public and private, because of *influenza
monitoring* and *earthquake
preparedness planning*.

If you are new to the Philippines, you may hear the phrase *“Walang Pasok.”*
This means *“No Classes.”* When you hear this, it means there are *no
face-to-face classes*, but please *stay connected* for updates. Your
teachers will give you information about *how your classes will continue
online or through other methods*.

Please also *check **the news* in case there are any important
announcements or safety instructions.

Even though *AIIAS is a safe place* with *strong buildings*, we still need
to be cautios and follow all safety rules.

Stay safe, and let’s pray for people who may be affected by the situation.
We hope to see you *in person again on Monday.*

God bless you.
