Dear AIIAS Community,

It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of *Brother
Steven Sandoval*, one of our online students in the Graduate Certificate in
Ministry program. He peacefully rested in the Lord on *Thursday, June 12,
2025*.

Though originally from the Philippines, Bro. Steven and his beloved
wife, *Ma’am
Maribel Rodelas*, have been living and working in *Macau*, faithfully
serving God in their sphere of influence.

To those who knew him—as a classmate, friend, or fellow servant in the
Lord—we want you to know that we grieve with you. In times like these, our
hearts turn to one another and to God for comfort and strength.

To *Ma’am Maribel*,
No words can fully express the depth of your loss, and we can only imagine
the pain of losing your life partner. But please know that you are not
alone. Your AIIAS family stands with you in love and prayer. We’ve heard of
your husband’s gentle spirit, his heart for mission, and the many gospel
songs he recorded as a gifted musician. His legacy of faith and service
will not be forgotten.

We encourage you to keep shining the light that both you and Sir Steven
carried so faithfully for Jesus—both in Macau and wherever God leads. We
grieve with hope, because *death is not the end for those who are in Christ*
.

*“For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the
voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ
will rise first.”*
—1 Thessalonians 4:16 (NKJV)

We look forward with hope to that glorious reunion when Bro. Steven will
rise again and, we believe, join the heavenly choir singing praises to the
Lamb who has conquered sin and death forever.

To our AIIAS *Online Students* and *all AIIAS Students* who know the
Sandoval family –

Thank you for your prayers and kind words to uplift the Sandoval-Rodelas
family in this time of loss.

Attached is his picture and this is a youtube link of him doing what he
loved best: PRAISING GOD. GONE TOO SOON 😭
