[English Center] Taking care of the communal space

[English Center Director]

Dear English Center Family,
It is so good to have a place we can call our own, a place we belong to and
care for.
I hope you have that feeling towards the English Center space and
environment.
With that in mind, I appeal to you to please care for the English Center
facilities. We have a simple but functional building that provides all we
need. And we share the same space with many people, which is a communal
area. Thus, all we do will affect others.

For example, if I spill water on the floor while filling my water bottle,
the next person who comes in will probably step on it and make the floor
dirty. The water on the floor can also cause someone to slip and fall.
Another example related to water is when I dispose of excess or unwanted
water in the water fountain dispenser, causing it to overflow and wet the
floor.

Caring for our space is also a way to show cordiality and respect
for others.
Please, think of others who are using the same space when you leave trash
behind, or when you are the last one to leave the room (turn off the lights
and all electronic equipment).

Thank you for your consideration and for caring for our communal space.
