I*n many parts of the world, the second Sunday of May is set aside to
celebrate mothers. *Whether you observe this tradition or not, please
accept our warm wishes for a *Happy Mother’s Day*.

*We’re entering the final week of Term B after eight intense and rewarding
weeks.*
This last stretch will be no different—stay focused and finish strong!
Congratulations on all your achievements, big and small. Soon, you’ll see
that every bit of effort has been worth it. Your time at the English Center
is an investment in your future, with lifelong rewards.

*Please pay close attention to your class schedules this week, as each
class may have a different timetable. Follow your teachers’ instructions
carefully.*

Use your time wisely to review the material that will be on your final
exams. Prepare for all four language skills—*Reading, Writing, Listening,
and Speaking*—but focus especially on your weakest area. We often spend
more time on what we enjoy, but it's more effective to work on what needs
improvement.

*During final exams, all electronic devices or gadgets will be
collected. **Taking
photos, recording videos, or audio of the tests is strictly forbidden. *Any
student who violates the academic integrity policy will face penalties.

Take note of the following dates:

   - May 14, VEPT for Level 4 (the test fee will be charged to your
student's account unless you want to pay it separately).
   - May 16, last day of classes for Term B.
   - May 19, English Center Steering Committee.
   - May 20, last day to receive your final grades.
   - May 29, Placement Test for new students (they should contact the
   Admissions Office in advance).
   - May 26-30, registration week.
   - June 2, first day of classes for the Inter-semester. Remember that we
start counting attendance from the first day of classes (June 2).

*If you are traveling or taking vacation during the inter-semester break
(June–July), you must inform the Student Services Office in advance.*
This is necessary to receive immigration clearance before leaving the
country.

*Thank you for participating in the Teaching Evaluation survey.*
Your honest feedback helps us identify areas for improvement and strengthen
what we are doing well. We are committed to providing you with the best
possible learning experience. In return, we ask that you take full
responsibility for your language learning and give it your best effort.
Have a blessed week.
