[English Center] To Remember

[English Center Director]

Hello, English Center students,
Last week, during our first week of classes, we had the opportunity to
gather together for special moments of worship and connection. It was good
to see you all involved, participating, and learning.
As we start our second week, I'd like to share with you a few things we
mentioned last week that are worth repeating. See below a list of things to
remember:

*1) Regular English Center hours:*
a) Classes: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, from 8:00 am until
12:00 pm and from 1:30 pm until 3:30 pm.
b) Office: 8:00-12:00, 1:30-5:00 pm.
c) Fridays: special classes, morning only. The office closes at 12:00 pm.
d) Avoid calling, messaging, or contacting your teacher after working
hours, especially evening time, weekends, and holidays.
*2) Let's keep it clean:*
a) Bring your water bottle/tumbler.
b) Be careful not to spill around the drinking fountain.
c) Please don't waste overflows in the drinking fountain.
d) Place all trash in the trash bin/can.
*3) Holidays:*
a) Aug 21, Thursday (Ninoy Aquino Day)
b) Aug 25, Monday (National Heroes Day)
*4) Student Association Fee:*
a) Optional, talk with the EC secretary
b) PhP 940 each Term
*5) EC Policies:*
a) Attendance: 85% presence, only 15% absence
b) Grade: minimum of 83% score to pass to the next level
*6) Use the main door:*
a) If your classroom has multiple doors, use only the main one.
b) All other doors will be locked and should not be opened.
*7) Official channels of communications:*
a) Check your AIIAS email address constantly and all AIIAS official
channels of communication, including the English Center Facebook and
Instagram accounts.
